SUMMER CAMPS!!!! The Art room will be hosting 3 weeks of summer camps filled with arts and imagination! Camps will be June 5-9, June 12-16, and August 7-11 from 9am until 2pm for kids ages 5-10 years old. Register soon to grab a spot! It’s going to be awesome!

All new sessions begin in March for ART Explorers and ARTventurers! Sign up now for a 12-week ARTventurers (6-12 yrs.) session or a 6-week ART explorers (2.5-5 yrs.) session before spots fill up!

It has been a wonderful beginning to The Art Room! All the young artists have created incredible artwork and I have had such a great time developing curriculum and working with the students. Projects have included ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, and papier-mâché as well as many other art media. I am continually thankful for the support I have received and am looking forward to many more artistic adventures!

• New 6-week ARTexplorers (2.5-5yrs.) session starts next week! Register online now!
  • Tuesdays 3:30-5:00pm beginning October 4^th until November 8^th.
  • Thursdays 10:00-11:30am beginning October 6^th until November 10^th.

• Introducing ARTventure Teens!
  • Students will be guided through art projects catered to them in a supportive and fun environment.
  • Lots of cool project ideas, including throwing pots on the pottery wheel or learning to screen-print t-shirts.
  • First 12-week session begins Nov. 30 (No classes during winter break)

• Next 12-week ARTventurers (6-12 yrs.) session starts after Thanksgiving!
  • Wednesdays from 1:15 to 3:15pm starting 11/30/16
  • Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:15 starting 12/1/16
  • No classes during winter break.

• Upcoming camps and workshops:
  • Holiday Workshops: Dec. 3, Dec. 10, and Dec.17
  • New Year’s Camp: January 2-6, 2017

• Availability on Tuesday mornings for Homeschool classes!

I had such a great time yesterday at The Art Room open house! I loved seeing people enjoying art in my newly renovated space! I also really enjoyed talking with everyone who visited and I appreciate all the positive comments and feedback I’ve received. Taking that feedback into consideration, I have decided to change the class schedule a little bit. Here are the changes:

• The Tuesday ARTventurers class (6-12 yrs) will move to Wednesdays from 1-3pm
• Open studio will start at 3pm and go until 6pm on Wednesdays
• The Tuesday ART explorers class will move from morning to 3:30-5pm.
• Open studio will be offered on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings a few times a month
